In the present Application, Applicant is indicted under Sections 354-A(1)(i) and 354-D(2) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860; Sections 11 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections 66E and 67B of the Information Technology Act, 2000 wherein according to the learned Advocate the maximum punishment that would be suffered in the event of conviction would be 5 years. Applicant is behind bars for 26 months. 3.
