Mr. Navkar Jain, learned Advocate for the Applicant submits that one of the ground raised in the present applicant is that the maximum punishment for the offences charged for the present crime would be of five years. He submits that the Applicant is already undergone imprisonment of two years and seven months. He therefore, seeks time to address on the provisions of 479(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and prays for a weeks time.
