This is an application for regular bail.

2.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No. 701 of 2024 registered at Hinjewadi Police Station, Pimpri Chinchwad, Dist:Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegations against the present applicant and other co-accused are of forgery and cheating. by SAJAKALI LIYAKAT JAMADAR Date:

The bail is sought on the ground of parity. In support of the said submission, the learned counsel for the applicant has placed on record the copy of order dated 26.12.2024 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Pune, in Criminal Bail Application No.6865 of 2024. By the said order, the learned Sessions Court, Pune has released the co-accused Chandrakant Haridas More on bail.

I have perused the First Information Report. The main allegations are against the co-accused Vasudatta Dube and Chandrakant Haridas More including the allegations of forgery. Considering the fact that the Sessions Court has released co-accused Chandrakant More on bail and therefore, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.

ORDER

(i) Criminal Bail Application is allowed;

(ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with Crime No. 701 of 2024 registered at Hinjewadi Police Station, Pimpri Chinchwad, Dist:Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;

(iii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station twice in a month on first and third Saturday of the month between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. till conclusion of trial;

(iv) Application stands disposed of accordingly.
