Considering the long incarceration of Applicant for 6 years and 3 months, I am inclined to take up this Application for hearing. However learned APP persuades the Court to take up the hearing in the following week as the Investigating Officer (IO) is not present and she needs to take appropriate instructions with respect to the status of the trial.

Mr. Kashid, learned Advocate for Applicant would inform the Court that trial has not commenced neither the charge has been framed.

In view of the above, learned APP shall take instructions and apprise the Court on the next adjourned date.
