When the application is called out for hearing, the learned APP informs this Court that the victims in the present case have been served through the Investigating Officer. Both victims are minor and presently, they are in the custody of a NonGovernmental Organization (NGO). It is indicated that both the victims desire to avail legal-aid.

In view of the above, the High Court Legal Services Committee is directed to appoint an Advocate from its panel to represent both the victims, particularly because offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act) are also registered in the present case. 3.

The applicant shall serve copy of the application on the office of the High Court Legal Services Committee by tomorrow (6th February 2025).
