The Applicant seeks his release on bail in connection with C.R.No. 0007 of 2024 dated 3rd January 2024 registered with the Wadala T T Police Station, Brihanmumbai City for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 ('NDPS Act' for short).

At the very outset, Ms. Puja Yadav, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, submits that 240 bottles of Codeine syrup were recovered from the Applicant, however, 27th November 2025

17-BA-5437-2024.DOC quantity of codeine in the cough syrup has not yet been ascertained since C.A.Report is still awaited. 3.

In these circumstances, C.A.Report be expedited and be submitted to Ms. Anamika Malhotra, learned APP representing the State in the matter, within 15 days from today.
