This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No. 131 of 2024 registered at Jat Police Station, District : Sangli for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 341 r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 & 25 of the Arms Act and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act. The sister of the present applicant was married to the younger brother of the deceased. It is alleged that the deceased was addicted to liquor and used to quarrel with the sister of the present applicant and her husband. It is alleged that, fed up with the act of the deceased, the husband of the sister of the applicant was compelled to commit suicide. It is alleged that thus on the date of incident which took place on 06.03.2024, the applicant along with other co-accused committed his murder.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.P.P. for the Respondent-State.

The learned A.P.P. submits that the prosecution has collected C.C.T.V. footage wherein the entire incident is captured. It is submitted that considering the nature of crime, the present applicant may not be released on bail. 6.
The applicant is in jail for one year. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.
ORDER
(i) Criminal Bail Application is allowed;
(ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with Crime No. 131 of 2024 registered at Jat Police Station, District: Sangli for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 341 r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 & 25 of the Arms Act and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act, on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;
(iii) Application stands disposed of accordingly.
