Heard the learned Counsel for the applicants, the learned APP for the State and the learned Counsel for the intervener.

By an order dated 15th January, 2024, a Coordinate Bench of this Court had granted interim bail. Prior thereto, this Court had granted pre-arrest bail to one of the coaccused namely Shivamkumar, who is the son of the applicant.

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that in the intervening period, charge-sheet has been lodged and even the trial has commenced.

The learned APP, on instructions, submits that chargesheet and supplementary charge-sheet have been lodged and the case is committed to the Court of Session. 5.

This Court had recorded reasons while granting interim bail to the applicants. In view of the developments in the intervening period, filing of the charge-sheets and committal of the case to the Court of Session, at this stage, the custodial interrogation of the applicants does not seem to be warranted. I am, therefore, impelled to make order of interim bail absolute.

Hence, the following order:

: O R D E R :

(i) Interim bail order dated 15th January, 2024 is made absolute on the terms and conditions incorporated therein. (ii) The applicants shall appear before the Investigating Officer as and when directed.

(iii) The applicants shall regularly attend the proceedings before the jurisdictional court.

Application disposed.
