Issue notice to the non-applicant.

The applicant is apprehended for his arrest at the hands of police in connection with Crime F. No. DRI/MZU/NRU/INT-113/ENQ-41/2023, registered with Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Nagpur Regional Unit, Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 20, 28 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short the "NDPS Act"). 4.

It is alleged that on receiving the information, the raid was conducted, cannabis seized and the two persons i.e. co-accused No.1 and 2 were arrested. During investigation, both the accused have stated the name of this applicant as they are friends. As the name of this applicant is mentioned, the Notice under Section 67 of the NDPS Act is issued against this applicant. Both the co-accused are in jail and charge-sheet is filed. As the name of this applicant is mentioned by the co-accused

2 14-ABA and the notice is issued to the present applicant, the applicant is apprehended of his arrest in this matter. 5.

Considering the allegation made against this applicant, the case is made out to protect the applicant by granting ad-interim anticipatory bail on following conditions.

(i) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with Crime F. No. DRI/MZU/NRU/INT-113/ENQ41/2023, registered with Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Nagpur Regional Unit, Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 20, 28 and 29 of the, the applicant - Sayyad Ayaz Jalil Pirzada @ Jabbar be released on ad-interim anticipatory bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on every Wednesday at about 01.00 pm. to 02.00 pm. and co-operate in the investigation. (iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and or influence the prosecution witnesses.
