Learned APP waives notice for the State and seeks time to file reply.

Apprehending the arrest at the hands of police in connection with Crime No.658/2024 registered with police station Ram Nagar, Wardha for the offence punishable under Section 24 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and Sections 115(1), 118(1), 296, 351(3) and 333 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the applicant approached to this Court for grant of pre-arrest bail.

Heard learned Counsel for the applicant to some extent and perused the recitals of the FIR from which it reveals that the allegation against the present applicant is that she has harassed and assaulted the old lady who is her mother-in-law.

Considering the allegation in the FIR wherein the present applicant has mentally and physically harassed her mother-in-law who is old lady and also caused injury to the son of the informant.

Prima facie case at this stage is made out against the present applicant, therefore, no case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection.
