The Applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with C.R.No.205/2023 registered with Navin Panvel Police Station, Navi Mumbai on 11.8.2023 under Sections 406, 420, 427, 504, 506 read with 34 of IPC. 2.

Heard Mr. Arun Rajput, learned counsel for the Applicant, Mr. Rushikesh Kale, learned counsel for the Complainant and Ms. Rajeshree Newton, learned APP for the Respondent-State.

The gist of the FIR is that the informant was knowing the Applicant. They were having good family relations. On different occasions, the Applicant induced her to part with Rs.64 Lakhs on the pretext of purchasing a land in the name of the informant at village Gaulwadi, TalukaKarjat, District-Raigad in Survey No.4/35/1A, 6/1 and 6/2. However, inspite of taking money, the land was not transferred in her name. Instead the Applicant offered another land but that was also not taken to its conclusion and the informant has lost the money.

Today, learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that his client is willing to refund the amount with reasonable interest within a reasonable time. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the informant is willing to explore a possibility of settlement. 5.

Considering both these submissions, to enable the parties to explore the possibility of settlement, the Applicant can be protected by way of ad-interim relief.

Hence, the following order:

O R D E R

(i) In the event of his arrest in connection with C.R.No.205/2023 registered with Navin Panvel Police Station, Navi Mumbai, till the next date, the Applicant be released on bail on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.

(ii) This order shall operate till 19.4.2024.

(iii) Learned counsel for the Applicant is directed to add the first informant as a party respondent in this application itself. Amendment shall be carried out forthwith.

(iv) Stand over to 19.4.2024.
