The Applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with C.R.No.289 of 2023 registered at Kamothe Police Station, Navi Mumbai, on 30.10.2023, under Sections 498-A, 495, 323, 504 and 506 r/w. 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

Heard Mr. Aniket Deshkar, learned counsel for the applicant. The first informant is present in person. She is wife of the applicant. I have read the F.I.R.

Learned counsel for the applicant, as well as, the first VINOD BHASKAR GOKHALE informant, both make a statement that they are willing to explore VINOD BHASKAR GOKHALE Date: 2024.03.27 10:42:49 +0530

a possibility of settlement through mediation. The first informant also prays that legal assistance be provided to her through the Legal Aid panel.

Considering these requests, I am inclined to refer this matter for mediation with ad-interim relief to the applicant, and with directions to appoint a legal aid counsel for the first informant.

Hence, the following order.

O R D E R

i) Both the parties shall approach the Mediation Center of this Court on 15.04.2024; at 11:00a.m. ii) The officer in charge of the mediation center shall appoint a suitable Mediator from their panel to make an attempt to bring about the settlement between the parties.

iii) The Legal Services authority is requested to appoint a suitable advocate from their panel to represent the first informant. The office shall handover all necessary papers to the appointed advocate.

iv) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with C.R.No.289 of 2023 registered at Kamothe Police Station, Navi Mumbai, till the next date, the Applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.

v) This order shall operate till 19/06/2024.

vi) Stand over to 19/06/2024.
