This matter was called out in the morning session, but none appeared for the Applicant. It was called out again after the post-lunch session. However, none appears for the Applicant. 3.
This bench is constituted only for today. Although this Anticipatory Bail Application would warrant hearing, it may not be just and fair to pass orders in the absence of the Applicant. In the given situation, deferring the matter today, would become inevitable. 4.
Ms. Rao, learned Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) for the Respondent - State, on instructions, submits that the Applicant, pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court, has cooperated with the investigation. He has attended the Police Station on the dates set out in the interim order dated 2 April 2024. The APP further submits that the Mayur
4-ABA-848-2024.doc charge-sheet will positively be filed in the present proceedings within a period of six weeks from today.

It is made clear that if none appears for the Applicant on the adjourned date of hearing, the Court may also consider vacating the interim order of protection granted in favour of the Applicant, which is to continue till the next date of hearing, i.e. 13 October 2025. 6.
