When this matter was called out, none appeared for the Applicant. Mr. V. B. Konde-Deshmukh, learned APP, appears for the Respondent/State.

By order dated 7th January 2026, Anticipatory Bail Application No. 888 of 2024 was disposed of.

This Application is listed today in view of the Office Submission dated 18th February 2026 of the Registry of this Court. The reason for placing this matter before this Court is on account of the direction in paragraph No. 6 of the Order dated 7th January 2026, which reads as under :-

(1) ABA-888.24.DOCX "6. The amounts deposited in this Court be transferred to the Court of the learned JMFC, Panvel. The said amount shall be invested in a Nationalised Bank in a fixed deposit for the appropriate period. The concerned learned Judge shall pass an Order in accordance with law with respect to the amount which has been deposited."

In view of the use of the term "the amount", the Registry intends to transfer the principal amount deposited by the Applicant, along with the interest accrued on it during the period the amount was before this Court, to the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Panvel.

As this Court has directed the transfer of the amount to the Court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Panvel, the interest accrued on the deposited amount should also be transferred to the Court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Panvel, in view of the order dated 7th January 2026. 6.

Order accordingly.
