On the last occasion, a statement was made on behalf of the Applicant that he was willing to settle the matter with the alleged victim and particularly with the informant and one Shirke. In view of that statement, order was passed on 07/05/2024 granting ad-interim protection. However, after that, no efforts were made by the Applicant to settle the matter. Today, learned counsel for the Applicant states that a Demand Draft of Rs.2,50,000/- is ready in the name of the first informant and therefore that will show his bonafides.

4.

Considering that the Applicant has a Demand Draft ready, today I am inclined to extend the ad-interim relief till the next date. In the meantime, the Applicant can take steps to fulfill the commitment made before this Court. The Applicant can attend the concerned police station for the purpose of making the payment.

5.

Hence, the following order :

O R D E R

3 / 3 (i) Ad-interim relief granted earlier to continue till the next date.

(ii) The Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on 05/08/2024, 06/08/2024 and 07/08/2024 between 01.00 p.m. to 05.00 p.m.

(iii) The Investigating Officer shall call the informant and other victims to the police station on that day, so that, further steps can be taken by the Applicant.

(iv) This order shall operate till 22/08/2024.

(v) Stand over to 22/08/2024.
