The learned advocate for the applicant submits that, as per the voluntary statement made before this Court on 5 May 2025, the applicant, who is 79 years of age, has deposited 35 lakhs with ₹ the Registry of this Court. He further submits that the applicant was unable to attend the office of the Investigating Officer on 6 May 2025 and 7 May 2025, as a fresh FIR has been lodged against him. The applicant apprehends that he may be arrested in connection with the newly registered FIR.
