Heard the parties. It is alleged that the Applicant who happens to be a valuer on the panel of the Bank had certified ornaments to be of gold. On the basis of its valuation certificate the Bank advanced gold loan to the person who had mortgaged the gold ornaments. It was later on found that the ornaments were not of pure gold and only outer layer was of gold. 2.
It is the case of the Applicant that the ornaments are gold plated and it is not easily identifiable. The ornaments are called as 'patlya' which are thick bangles. He thus submits that it is difficult to visually identified that the inner layer is not a gold. He is ready to abide by condition, if any imposed by this Court. Hence the following order. Shubham 1/2

ORDER
a) Issue notice to Respondents, returnable on 14th June, 2024. Learned APP waives notice for Respondent/State.
b) Till the next date, in the event of arrest of the Applicant in connection with FIR No. 0087 of 2024, registered with Shirala Police Station, District-Sangali, for the offences punishable under section 409, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code 1860, he shall be released on bail on executing P. R. bond and solvent surety in the sum of Rs.15,000/-.
c) The Applicant shall not try to influence the investigation and co-operate with the investigation officer. The Applicant not to tamper with evidence and not try to pressurize any of the witnesses.
d) The Applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called for.
e) The Applicant shall keep informed the concerned Police Station about his residential address, mobile number etc., and other contact details.
