The learned APP submits that although the Applicants have filed an affidavit dated 29 January 2025 in the present proceedings, wherein they have stated that they do not claim any right over Flat No. B-610, Sanyukta Ekjut (SRA) Co-operative Housing Society, near Wadala Market, Wadala (W), Mumbai-400031, as per the instructions of the Investigating Officer, the present Applicants were not entitled to either of the two flats, as they had sold both flats to different individuals before the hutments went for redevelopment.

It is submitted that by an order dated 9 May 2024, interim protection was granted to the Applicant. After that date, the Applicant has visited the concerned Police Station three times to record his statement. He further submits that if required, the Applicants will visit the police station again for further inquires regarding his ineligibility for either of the two flats. .

In view of the statements made by the APP, the Applicant Nos. 1 and 2 are directed to visit concerned police station on 5 February 2025, 6 February 2025 and 7 February 2025, between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., to record their statements.

Post this matter on 12 February 2025, the matter to come up under the caption of "Urgent Circulation".

In the meanwhile, ad-interim protection granted earlier to continue till the next date of the hearing.
