The present case involves offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The respondent No.2 has been served. She is present in Court and she prays for appointment of an advocate through legal aid to represent her.

In that light, office of the Legal Services Committee of this Court is directed to immediately appoint an advocate from its panel to represent the respondent No.2.

The learned counsel for the applicant undertakes to provide a copy of the papers pertaining to this application to the office of the Legal Services Committee within one week from today. 4.
