As per prosecution story, on 11th January, 2024 the Police intercepted a tempo and seized contraband i.e. Pan Masala and Gutkha worth of Rs.47,22,300/- and the driver of the tempo has been arrested and released on bail. The allegation against the Applicant is that he is the owner of the said tempo and contraband. Contraband material is already seized which is crucial part of investigation.

Considering the submissions as well as the fact that the contraband is already seized, a case is made out for ad-interim SUNNY THOTE

Hence, the following order;

ORDER

i.

Pending the Application, in the event of arrest of Applicant, the Applicant shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.50,000/- with one or more solvent surety in the like amount;

ii.

The Applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on every Wednesday between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for three weeks and cooperate with the investigation. iii.

Stand over to 2nd July, 2024.
