This is an application seeking anticipatory bail in connection with the FIR registered as far back as on 26th September 2018. This Court has informed that charges are already framed before the trial Court.

The learned APP seeks time to take instructions, particularly in the light of the contention raised on behalf of the applicant that he is not the person arraigned as accused No.3 in the present case, particularly because the brother of the applicant is an accused, who was arrested and subsequently, released on regular bail by an order of this Court passed on 17th February 2020. It is specifically contended on behalf of the applicant that he was always available and yet the investigating authority did not take any steps as against him for the reason that he has no connection with the incident in question.

Considering the specific submission made on behalf of the applicant, the learned APP is granted time of one week to take instructions.
