The present application has been listed today in the backdrop of order dated 24.06.2024 passed by this Court, whereby interim relief was granted to the applicant and he was directed to remain present before the Investigating Officer on 28.06.2024.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that in pursuance of the aforesaid direction, the applicant was present before the Investigating Officer on 28.06.2024, 03.07.2024 and 06.07.2024. It is submitted that the applicant has co-operated with the investigation. 3.

The learned APP has tendered a say alongwith copies of statements recorded during the course of investigation as also copy of bank account statement of the applicant for the year 2012. The same is taken on record. It is specifically submitted by the learned APP that in the present case, the applicant has received substantial amount in return from the main accused 1/2

24_ABA_1644_24.doc persons for the investments made by him and on the basis of the inducements given by him to others to invest with the main accused persons for establishing franchisees.

The learned APP submits that the applicant has to account for at least 33,00,845/- received by him from the main accused persons, who are ₹ absconding.

The learned counsel for the applicant seeks short adjournment to respond to the aforesaid say.
