By order dated 03.07.2024, this Court passed interim order in favour of the applicant, by directing him to remain present before the investigating officer on 05.07.2024 and to co-operate with the investigation. 2.

This Court is informed that the applicant has indeed co-operated with the investigation and he has given his blood samples for carrying out the DNA tests, etc.

The learned APP submits that respondent No.2 has been served and she is praying for legal aid.

In that light, the High Court Legal Services Committee is directed to appoint an advocate from its panel to represent respondent No.2. Additional set of papers pertaining to this application, shall be served on the office of the High Court Legal Services Committee within one week from today. 5.

List the application for further consideration on 20.11.2024 High on Board.
