Heard Mr D R Thakare, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant and Mr Yogesh Dabke, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. 2.

This is an application for pre-arrest bail filed by the applicant, apprehending arrest in CR No.102 of 2024, registered with Ganeshpuri Police Station, Thane, for the offences punishable under Sections 353, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution alleges that the first informant, a Senior

Technician at the Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB), was tasked with disconnecting the electricity supply of customers who failed to pay their bills. When the informant and his team went to disconnect the supply at Santosh Jadhav's house, the applicant present at the spot, refused to pay the bill, shouted, and assaulted the informant. The informant returned later that day, and the applicant against assaulted him and prevented the disconnection of electricity supply. 4.

At the outset, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State, following instructions from the investigating officer present in the Court, submits that the investigation has been completed, and the charge sheet will be filed shortly. The prosecution does not seek the applicant's custody and has no objection for granting the pre-arrest bail. In light of the above, the application is allowed in the following terms.

(i) In the event, the applicant is arrested in connection with CR No.102 of 2024, registered with Ganeshpuri Police Station, Thane, she shall be released on bail on furnishing a PR Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when directed by the investigating agency.

(iii) The applicant herself or through any other person shall not indulge in any activity that would tamper with the evidence or influence the witnesses.
