During the course of arguments, Ms. Dwivedi, learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the amounts, that were transferred by the informant to the applicant, pertained to return of certain amounts given by the applicant to the informant for facilitating licence for travel of pilgrims to Haj. According to the applicant, such amounts were transferred in the year 2023 and beginning of 2024. 2.

In that light, when this Court put a specific query as to what material is available with the applicant to support the said contention, a compilation of the bank account statements of the applicant was produced for perusal of this Court. Certain entries have been relied upon. 3.

A copy of the compilation was handed over to the learned APP, who submits that short adjournment may be granted to take appropriate instructions from the investigating officer in this regard. 4.

Hence, list for further consideration on 09.08.2024 in the supplementary list.
