Since the regular court is not available today, these applications are mentioned before this court for extension of ad-interim protection granted by the learned Sessions Judge.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that these applications are listed at Serial No. 918 and 919 before the regular court. He, further submits that the applications for anticipatory bail filed by the co-accused are listed on 8th August 2024 before the regular court.

Learned counsel has tendered orders dated 12th July 2024 and 25th July 2024 passed in Anticipatory Bail Application Nos. 1940 of 2024 and 2073 of 2024. He submits that the said applications are already listed on board on 8th August 2024. He, therefore, requests that these applications also be listed along with the aforesaid applications on 8th August 2024.

Learned counsel for the applicant has tendered copy of the order dated 30th July 2024 passed by the learned Session Judge extending the interim protection for three days. The said protection has expired on 2nd August 2024. He submits that immediately the present applications are filed and moved before this court. He thus requests to extend interim protection granted by the learned Sessions Judge till the next date.
