In the present proceedings, on 7th August 2024, the learned APP on instructions of the officer had made a statement that they shall not effect the arrest of the applicant till the next date, with a stipulation that the applicant would attend the police station on 12th, 13th and 14th August 2024.

It seems that thereafter, the learned counsel appearing for the applicant has chosen not to appear or not to argue the present proceedings, that can be seen from the orders dated 11th November 2024, 19th December 2024 and 27th January 2025. Even today, learned counsel Mr. Gomes who had earlier appeared for the
