In this application, on 22.08.2024, while issuing notice to respondent No.2, this Court granted interim order in favour of the applicant, subject to specific conditions, including a direction to the applicant to appear before the investigating officer on 26.08.2024 and thereafter as and when called by the investigating officer. The applicant was also directed not to enter the jurisdiction of Walchand Nagar Police Station, District - Pune Rural, except for remaining present before the investigating officer.

The learned APP informs this Court that the respondent No.2 is served and that she has prayed for grant of legal aid. He further submits that the applicant did not appear before the investigating officer, as directed by this Court.

The learned counsel appearing for the applicant does not have clear instructions as to whether the applicant indeed abided by the specific directions issued by this Court.

The High Court Legal Services Committee shall appoint an advocate from its panel to appear on behalf of the respondent No.2. 6.
On the next date, the applicant shall clarify as to whether he indeed abided by the directions issued by this Court in the interim order dated 22.08.2024. In the event, it is found that the applicant has not abided by the said directions, appropriate orders would be passed. 7.
