By this application, the applicant seeks pre-arrest bail in CR No.645 of 2024, registered at Vakola Police Station, Mumbai, for offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Mr Arif Siddiqui, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, submits that the applicant and respondent No.2/ the informant have resolved the dispute amicably. The informant has received Rs.2,25,000/- out of Rs.9,00,000/-, and the applicant will pay the balance sum in four instalments. The informant, who is present in person, has no grievance against the applicant and expresses his consent to grant pre-arrest bail. To this effect, the informant and the applicant have executed consent terms dated 17 October 2024. The same is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification. The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is ready to abide by the terms and conditions set out in the consent terms. 4.
After perusing the records, the offence's genesis appears to be civil. The parties have now arrived at a comprehensive
settlement regarding their dispute, and the informant consents to grant anticipatory bail to the applicant. The informant, who is present in the Court and identified by the Investigating Officer, has no objection and consents to granting pre-arrest bail to the applicant, and reiterates the contents of the consent terms.

In these circumstances, the application is allowed. In the event of the applicant's arrest in connection with CR No.645 of 2024, registered at Vakola Police Station, Mumbai, he shall be released on bail upon executing a PR Bond of Rs.25,000/- and furnishing one or more sureties in the like amount. 6.
