The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that on 22 July 2024, the applicant has received a notice under Section 41A of Cr.P.C. The notice contained a clause stating that in the event of a breach, the applicant would be arrested. The learned Counsel further submits that the applicant has not committed any breach of the notice and is ready to attend the police station and cooperate with the investigation. The learned APP, on instructions of the Investigating Officer present in Court, makes a statement that the applicant shall not _____________ 19 August 2024

sg 7.aba2323-24.doc be arrested with a stipulation that the applicant shall attend the police station and shall cooperate with the investigation, and if the prosecution intends to arrest him, they will give 72 hours prior notice. 2.

In the circumstances, the applicant shall attend the police station as and when required by the Investigating Officer and cooperate with the investigation.

The application stands disposed of. It is clarified that this Court has not examined the merits of the matter, and if the occasion arises, the applicant is at liberty to seek legal recourse in accordance with the law.
