At the outset, the learned counsel for the applicants submitted that the co-accused persons have been granted interim protection in Anticipatory Bail Application No.2290 of 2024, which will be coming up for hearing on 18.09.2024 in the supplementary list.

A perusal of the said order shows that this Court granted interim protection to the co-accused persons, for the reason that the informant appeared through counsel and confirmed the fact that the dispute had been settled and that a Memorandum of Understanding was already executed. 3.

The learned counsel for the applicants in the present application submits that the role of the applicants is marginal and that in any case, the grievance is now settled.

In this situation, it would be appropriate that the applicant serves a copy of this application on the respondent No.2 (first informant) before the next date of listing.
