Heard Mr. Patil, learned counsel for the applicant and Ms.Ambekar, learned APP for the respondent-State. 2.
Considering the rival submissions, it would be appropriate that the investigation papers are produced for perusal of this Court. 3.
This Court is informed that during the pendency of the anticipatory bail application, the Sessions Court had granted interim protection by order dated 15.06.2024 to the applicant, who is an advocate. The anticipatory bail application was eventually dismissed by an order dated 21.08.2024. On 22.08.2024, the Sessions Court passed an order extending the interim protection till 05.09.2024. 4.
In that light, list this application for further consideration on 26.09.2024, to be included in the supplementary list. The investigation papers shall be produced before this Court on the next date of listing. 5.
Since interim protection is operating in favour of the applicant from 15.06.2024, it shall extend till the next date of listing i.e. 26.09.2024, subject to the same conditions on which such interim protection was granted by the Sessions Court. by MINAL SANDIP PARAB Date:
