Heard Mr. Nikam, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr. Malshe, learned APP appearing for the respondent-State. 2.
The learned APP, in the present case, inter alia has pointed out that the applicant has a number of criminal antecedents. A perusal of the papers shows that before the Sessions Court, a bold statement is made on behalf of the applicant that he has no criminal background. 3.
The learned counsel for the applicant seeks short adjournment to take instructions on the aspect of the criminal antecedents of the applicant and as to whether any of the cases has attained finality. 4.
