Mr. Navale, appearing on behalf of the applicant submits that he seeking a discharge as an Advocate of the applicant since, the applicant is not communicating with him. He has handed over a copy of letter dated 26 February 2025 written by him to the applicant, thereby, informing about the orders passed by this Court on 7 October 2024 and on 24 February 2025. Mr. Navale submits that inspite of communication to the applicant, there is no further communication from the applicant. Therefore, in such a situation, he intends to withdraw his vakalatnama which was filed on behalf of the applicant. The photo copy of letter dated 26 February 2025 is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification.

By order dated 7 October, 2024, protection was granted to the applicant and he was directed to appear before respondent no. 1 (Central Intelligence Unit of Customs) on 9 October 2024 and as and when called by the said authority. However, the applicant did not attend the office of respondent no.1. Hence, this Court granted one more chance to the applicant to attend the office of respondent no.1, by order dated 24 February 2025, the applicant was directed to remain present in the office of respondent no. 1 from 26 February 2025 to 1 March 2025.

Today, Ms. Nitee Punde, appearing on behalf of respondent no. 1 submits that the applicant is not complied with the directions given by this Court.

In such a situation, since the applicant is not interested in proceeding of the anticipatory bail application, the same stands dismissed for non prosecution.
