Since offences under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POSCO) are also registered in the present case, by order dated 10.10.2024, this Court directed the applicant to amend the application so as to add the victim as respondent No.2 and notice was issued to the newly added respondent No.2. The office notice shows that the amendment has not been carried out. This is an application for anticipatory bail and by its very nature it is urgent and yet the applicant has not taken necessary steps in the matter, obviously at his own peril. Extension of time is sought for carrying out the amendment and for serving before the investigating officer, for the papers yet to be served in turn to the victim.

One week time is granted to applicant to take necessary steps in terms of order dated 10.10.2024.

List this application for further consideration on 5th December, 2024, to be included in the supplementary list.
