During the course of arguments although it is claimed on behalf of the applicant that he has no criminal antecedents, the learned APP submits that the applicant has at least three criminal cases pending against him, which include cases concerning offences under Sections 387, 435, 353 as also 341 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2.
It is also submitted that the co-accused persons have stated, upon being arrested, that the pistol, which was with one of the co-accused persons, was handed over to the applicant and on that basis, it is submitted that recovery of the pistol is also to be made, apart from the fact that the iron rod used by the applicant is yet to be recovered. 3.
Considering the three criminal antecedents pointed out by the learned APP, the learned counsel for the applicant shall take instructions regarding the same.

List this application for further consideration on 05.02.2025, High on Board. The investigation papers shall again be produced before this Court on the next date.
