The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the investigating officer, by a letter dated 2 March 2024, informed the applicant that the complaint filed by the first informant against him had been closed. However, without obtaining permission from the competent Court, the investigating officer later registered the crime.

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is willing to cooperate with the investigation and will attend the concerned police station as and when directed by the investigating officer.
