In this case, Sessions Court rejected the application for anticipatory bail filed by the applicants on 08.11.2024. But, since offences under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 are also registered in the present case, the applicants will have to file statutory appeal as provided under the said Act.

In this backdrop, the learned counsel for the applicants seeks permission to withdraw this application with liberty to file appropriate appeal.
