This application is filed by the husband in the proceedings filed by wife under Sections 498-A, 509, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3 and 4 of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights of Marriage) Act, 2019 in connection with the First Information Report (FIR) No.913 of 2024 registered with the Malvani Police Station, District Brihanmumbai Shahar. 2.
The respondent no.3 is the second wife of the applicant. The applicant was already married to another lady. However, as there were abuses to respondent no.3 and demand of Rs.5 lakhs, she filed the present FIR.

The learned APP appearing for the State submits that on 11/7/2024, they had issued a notice to the applicant in order to record his statement. However, the learned APP has submitted that on 12/7/2024, the applicant after getting the knowledge that the police had called him, in the filthiest language he sent message to respondent no.3.

The learned counsel Ms. Sanjot Shirsat, appeared for respondent no.3 through video conferencing. However, due to technical problem, I could not hear the learned counsel for respondent no.3.
