The applicant is apprehending her arrest in Crime No.705 of 2024 registered at Pimpari Police Station, Pimpari Chindhwad for the offences punishable under sections 406, 420, 506 r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1999.

According to the prosecution, the present applicant and other co-accused defrauded the investors to the tune of Rs.1,48,64,659/-. The present applicant is the sister of the main accused Abhishek Birajdar.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is not beneficiary of any amount.

The learned A.P.P. submits that the applicant needs to be interrogated in that respect.

The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station from 3rd February 2025 to 5th February 2025 between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
