Heard Mr. Shaikh, learned Advocate for Applicant and Ms. Bajoria, learned APP for Respondent - State of Maharashtra. 2.

Mr. Shaikh in his usual fairness draws my attention to the order dated 18.12.2024 whereby the Application made by Applicant seeking extension of time to deposit the amount was rejected. 3.

Mr. Shaikh would submit that in paragraph No.7 at page No.10 of the Anticipatory Bail Application, the Applicant has shown his bonafides by offering to bring the amount back by producing a fresh schedule for payment. As per that schedule Rs.1,10,000/- is stated to be ready and another Rs.75,000/- shall be paid on 10.01.2025. He would inform the Court that both these amounts are to be deposited with the Investigating Officer as directed. He would submit that tomorrow i.e. 08.01.2025, he will deposit the Demand draft of

913.ABA.3625.2024.doc Rs.1,10,000/- and on Friday i.e. 10.01.2025, he will deposit Demand Draft of the amount of Rs.75,000/- with Investigating Officer. 4.

In that view, the matter is adjourned to next week for compliance. If there is no compliance, this Application will stand automatically dismissed without recourse to the Court and prosecution will immediately take appropriate steps.

Ms. Bajoria, though appears for Respondent - State of Maharashtra has not been served with copy of Application. Applicant shall serve copy of Anticipatory Bail Application on the learned APP. 6.

In the meanwhile, no coercive steps shall be taken against Applicant.
