This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report bearing Crime No.385 of 2023 registered with the Ural Police Station District Akola for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicants are the Uncle and Aunt of the husband of the informant. It is submitted that out of bitterness distant relatives have been implicated by making vague allegations.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable on 22.02.2024. Learned Addl. P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
