This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report dated 15.12.2023 in Crime No. 0483 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Section 294 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code with Police Station Old City, Akola.

It is submitted that in concerned incident, informant has abused to the applicant for which already report has been lodged on the very day. In order to retaliate on the following day, false report has been lodged. Moreover, it is submitted that mere abuses does not constitute the offence punishable under Section 294 of the Indian Penal Code.

Issue notice to the non-applicants for final disposal of the application, returnable in four weeks. Kavita
