The learned Counsel for the applicant seeks permission to delete the name of the applicant No.1, who is the husband as the non-applicant is not pressing the application for quashing against him.

Permission is granted.

The learned Counsel for the non-applicant prayed to vacate the stay as this Court has come to the conclusion that the application is maintainable before this Court for quashing under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

It is not the case that only because this application was pending, the stay was granted, it was granted on 15.03.2024, therefore on disposal of said application, stay cannot be vacated. Therefore, stay order is continued till the next date.

Stand over after vacation.
