This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.701/2023 registered with Police Station Karanja, District Washim for the offences punishable under Section 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicants are parents-in-law and brotherin-law of the informant lady. It is primly canvassed that after demise of the husband, in order to pressurize the family on account of monetary settlement, report has been lodged with false allegations.

Issue notice, returnable after six weeks.
