This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report bearing Crime No.1142 of 2023 registered with the Gadge Nagar Police Station, Amravati City for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

It is submitted that the relatives of the husband never stayed in the company of the informant and her husband. Moreover, after three years from separation, false report has been lodged with the ulterior motive. 4.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable on 28.02.2024. Learned Addl.P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
