This is an application seeking to quash F.I.R. in Crime No.08/2024 registered by non-applicant No.1 Police Station, Gondia City, Tahsil and District Gondia for the offence punishable under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

It is applicants contention that due to differences marriage was not materialized, however, informant was insisting to pay Rs.3,00,000/- towards expenses borne by them. According to applicant since they have not acceded the demand false report has been filed.

Issue notice to the non-applicants returnable after six weeks.

Ms. S.V. Kolhe, learned A.P.P. waives notice for non-applicant No.1.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but chargesheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
