This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report (FIR) bearing Crime No.665 of 2023 registered with the Goregaon Police Station, District Gondia for the offence punishable under Sections 324, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

It is the applicants contention that at the relevant time, the applicant no.1 who is the Forest Guard was serving elsewhere for which he has produced certain documents.

Issue notice to the non-applicants, returnable on 21.03.2024. Learned Addl.P.P. waives notice on behalf of the State.

In the meantime, investigation may go on but charge-sheet shall not be filed without obtaining leave of this Court.
