This is an application seeking to quash the first information report bearing Crime No.866/2023 registered with Hudkeshwar Police Station, Nagpur City for the offence punishable under Sections 323, 498-A, 504 and 506 the Indian Penal Code.

It is the contention of applicants that the informant barely stayed for only 5 days in her matrimonial house, therefore, there was no occasion for ill treating her. Moreover, it is submitted that the Rgd.

Order 0202apl186.24 applicant no.1 has filed a report dated 20.02.2023 against the informant with the police, due to which they have been falsely implicated.

Issue notice to non-applicants, returnable on 15.03.2024. Learned A.P.P. waives notice for nonapplicant No.1. 5.

In the meanwhile, though the prosecution may continue with their investigation, but, charge sheet should not be filed without prior permission of this Court.
