This is an application seeking to quash the first information report bearing Crime Corrected as per Court's order dated 20.03.2024.

No.214/ registered with Beltarodi Police Station, District Nagpur for the offence punishable under Sections 377, 498-A, 323, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. It is submitted that yet chargesheet has not been filed. 3.

It is the contention of applicants that Rgd.

Order 0202apl190.24 the allegations are vague and general in nature as regards to parents in law. It is particularly submitted that the wife has started to reside separately from 04.05.2022, on which she has filed proceedings under Domestic Violence Act and for maintenance under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. However, after a gap of one year, only to pressurize husband this belated report has been lodged.

Issue notice to non-applicants, returnable on 15.03.2024. Learned A.P.P. waives notice for non-applicant no.1.

In the meanwhile, though the prosecution may continue with their investigation, but, charge sheet should not be filed without obtaining prior permission of this Court.
